Our Advanced Skills Coach Training course is focused upon advanced movement skills in the stroke that are dependent upon the stable presence of the fundamental skills, and upon training with metrics that emphasize the development of skillfulness along with fitness, which produces truly efficient performance.

Format
Seven 2-hour online class sessions
Three 1-hour lecture recordings (listen to before related class sessions)
Written and video analysis assignments
2-day in-pool training day booked separately (optional)
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the Fundamental Skills Coach Training course.
Active subscription at the SwimMastery Coach Membership level and good standing as a member.
Experience in teaching the SwimMastery fundamental skills to students.
Experience in learning the SwimMastery advanced skills in your swimming.
Application
The application is accessed in the SwimMastery Coach section of our member-access website.
Provide a video analysis of your swimming with commentary (voice and drawings) focused on your catch, 2-beat leg action, and synchronisation skills, using your current understanding.
Write an essay answering the questions given in the application.
Note: You must complete an in-pool assignment before arriving at the first online session of the course. It may take a single one-hour pool session. This assignment is accessed in the SwimMastery Coach section of our member-access website.
